Alexander and Francisco, the two co-founders of Cofi, met while working in an European debt fund. While working there, they noticed that finance tools were a privilege only some companies could afford whereas SMEs and Mid-Market companies had to struggle with multiple spreadsheets for reporting, planning or consolidation. They felt the need to help these companies with an all-in-one finance and performance management platform with a fast implementation and a low total cost of ownership.
